REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY - FAULTY ITEMS (sales within Australia only)

Should your item be faulty when it arrives, please email our store at returns@4x4offroadworld.com with order/invoice number and details of the problem and we will endeavor to rectify the situation. 

Our policy lasts 14 days from the date you receive your order. If 14 days have gone by since delivery of your order, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Do not return the item until we have approved the return and have sent further instructions. 

REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY - CHANGE OF MIND (sales within Australia only)

As we do not keep stock on hand and all our products are individually sourced once the buyer has purchased, we will use our discretion as to whether we can accept a return if you purchase the wrong product or simply change your mind. If we agree to accept a return, you will be responsible to pay for return tracked shipping and original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount. Some items may also attract a restocking fee and return delivery fee according to the terms of each individual supplier.

Any payments made by Paypal and refunded due to change of mind, will be refunded less the fee that we were charged by Paypal for the initial transaction.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and advise of approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a refund will be applied to your original method of payment.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and advise of approval or rejection of your exchange. If you are approved, then your return will be processed, and exchange item will be shipped to you.  

There may be a delay if the product you are wanting to exchange for is not in stock. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY 

Order can only be cancelled before item is shipped.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

For most countriesd outside Australia, please take careful consideration when purchasing as we cannot offer exchanges or refunds due to freight costs and time it takes to return items to our suppliers within their returns time frame. 

SALES TO THE EU

Right of withdrawal: a 14-day cooling-off period

As of 19th June 2026 EU buyers have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days of date of delivery. If the cooling-off period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended until the next working day.

Where the item is cancelled before it has been processed for shipping, we will issue a full refund. 

Cost of returning goods within the cooling-off period

If you decide to return the product within the 14-day cooling off period, you are responsible for the costs of return postage and packaging where the item has already been shipped. This cost will be deducted from the refund total. In this instance the original shipping costs plus a 10% restocking fee will also be deducted from the refund total. 

If your order has been processed for shipping but not yet shipped, there may also be a 10% restocking fee which will be deducted for the final refund amount.
